 casse\n\nBio: Jesse Lacasse is a Ph.D. (c) at Concordia University's Cent
 er for Studies in Behavioral Neurobiology in Montréal\, Quebec. His resea
 rch focuses on the effects of hormonal contraceptives on the brain and cog
 nition both in women and in female rats.\n\n\n\nDr. Natalie Tronson\n\nBio
 : Dr. Natalie Tronson's research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of l
 earning and memory\; the internal and external factors that can lead to ch
 anges in memory\; and the role of memory dysregulation in psychiatric and 
 neurological disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder\, and post
 -operative cognitive decline. Dr. Tronson is particularly intruigued by qu
 estions such as “Why do many patients develop post-traumatic stress diso
 rder after heart attack?” and “What causes cognitive and memory declin
 e after surgery?” and “How do normal memories for trauma become pathol
 ogical in post-traumatic stress disorder?” and “Why are women so much 
 more susceptible to these than males?”\n\n\n
