SUMMARY:Sexual Pain in Endometriosis Workshop
DESCRIPTION:About this Event\nThis is a one-day workshop for people with en
 dometriosis along with their families\, friends\, and partners to learn ab
 out causes of sexual pain in endometriosis and tools to manage this pain.\
 nGuest Speakers include\;\nDr. Lori Brotto\, Canadian psychologist best kn
 own for her work on female sexual arousal and mindfulness.\n\nDr. Paul Yon
 g\, Research Director for the Endometriosis &amp\; Pelvic Pain Laboratory 
 at the University of British Columbia and specialist in endometriosis asso
 ciated sexual pain.\n\nLana Barry\, Chronic Conditions Self-Management Pro
 gram Coordinator and Women’s Sexual Health Advocate.\n\nWe will be runni
 ng a research study to evaluate the workshop. This study is not mandatory.
  You may attend the workshop without completing the questionnaires. Your p
 articipation in this study will allow us to see if the workshop was useful
  in providing valuable information on self-help tools and treatments\, and
  education on sexual pain in endometriosis. Your feedback is very importan
 t to use to improve our future workshops to target them to the needs to th
 e endometriosis population and family/friends/partners.\n\nThe research st
 udy consists of 2 questionnaires\, one before (about 5 minutes to complete
 ) and one after the workshop (about 10 minutes to complete). You will rece
 ive an email 3 days before the workshop with more information on this stud
