 ment of Sociology\, Memorial University of Newfoundland\n\nDr. Eric Y. Te
 nkorang is an is Associate Professor of Sociology and cross-appointed with
  the Division of Community Health and Humanities at Memorial University of
  Newfoundland\, St. John’s\, Canada. Dr. Tenkorang received his PhD in S
 ociology from the University of Western Ontario (now Western University\, 
 Canada) in 2008. Over the past few years\, Dr. Tenkorang’s research has 
 broadly examined the social and cultural determinants of health among at-r
 isk and vulnerable populations in developed and developing countries. Spec
 ifically\, he has been interested in the sexual reproductive health of you
 th and women in HIV endemic parts of the world\, mostly sub-Saharan Africa
 . His research interests have expanded to examining the socio-cultural und
 erpinnings of intimate partner violence in several African countries.\n\n&
