 ssociate Vice President of Research\, Mount Saint Vincent University and 
 Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology\n\nDr. Derek Fisher is
  the Associate Vice President at Mount Saint Vincent University and an Ass
 ociate Professor in the Department of Psychology.  Dr. Fisher holds adjun
 ct professor status at Dalhousie University\, Acadia University\, and Sain
 t Mary's University\, and has been appointed an affiliated scientist in th
 e Department of Psychiatry with the Nova Scotia Health Authority. Addition
 ally\, Dr. Fisher is an Associate Editor of Clinical EEC and Neuroscience 
 and is a Guest Editor of the International Journal of Physiology for a spe
 cial issue on the neurophysiology of schizophrenia\, as well as an ad-hoc 
 reviewer on an impressive 33 journals\, many of them international journal
 s. As a cognitive neuroscientist\, Dr. Derek Fisher uses electroencephalog
 ram (EEG) tests to study the electrical activity of the brain. His researc
 h is focused on two primary areas of research: how brain function changes 
 in the context of mental illness and neurological illness\, and how common
  drugs change brain activity.\n\n&nbsp\;
