 ember 8th\, 2019 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm\, Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Br
 ain Health\, Rudy North Lecture Theatre (LL101)\nDiscover various research
  activities conducted by students and trainees from some of UBC’s Resear
 ch Excellence Clusters. Students from the Dynamic Brain Circuits in Healt
 h and Disease\, Women's Health and Biomedical Imaging and AI clusters 
 will present posters that address the Future of Health.\n\nJoin us for a d
 ay of multi-disciplinary exploration as our students address pressing ques
 tions around the future of health.\n\nThe day will include:\n\n 	Poster pr
 esentations exhibiting students’ work\n 	Lightning-Round presentations b
 y the top 10 abstracts\n 	Awards presentation\n\nWhy should you participat
 e?\n\nThe goal of research day is to provide a setting for faculty and stu
 dents to identify research projects that connect to their work and generat
 e new collaborative ideas.\n\nResearch Day will:\n\n 	provide an opportuni
 ty for you to explain your research and gain valuable feedback\;\n 	hone y
 our skills in writing an abstract and strengthen your presentation skills\
 ;\n 	give you a chance to practice communicating your research to a divers
 e group of people\;\n 	Let you meet potential collaborators and network wi
 th peers.\n\nPreparing Your Abstract\n\n 	Prepare an abstract of no more t
 han 250 words.\n 	Provide two keywords for your abstract.\n 	Please note: 
 Only one abstract per student is permitted.\n\nPresentations\n\nAbstracts 
 will be judged by professors from all three clusters. The top 10 will be i
 nvited to present their research in a 5 minute lightning talk. Successful 
 applicants will be notified by November 1\, 2019.\n\nAbstracts are due Mon
 day\, October 21st by 4pm (PST)\n\n&nbsp\;
