My name is Elaine Xu, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I am passionate about conducting research that bridges the gap in understanding women’s brain health. My current work focuses on adolescence as a critical developmental period that contributes to gender disparities in mental health. I aim to better understand the divergent developmental trajectories of girls and boys during this time.
