Sara Bahen
Sara holds a Master of Science from McMaster University’s Mary Heersink School of Global Health and Social Medicine, where her research explored how social contexts shape accessibility in health. She also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Toronto.
Professionally, Sara has contributed to multiple research initiatives, including studies on the use of cognitive behavioural therapy for pain management and the prevalence and impact of intimate partner violence. She has led initiatives to develop accessible resources and workshops that enhance support for individuals affected by eating disorders, while advancing community training and education. Sara is dedicated to advancing health equity through health promotion, emphasizing women’s health and keeping patient-centered care at the heart of everything she does.
