Saleena Zedan

Saleena is a 2nd Year MSc student at the University of Toronto in the Institute of Medical Sciences. Her research is primarily focused on understanding how gender identity and socioenvironmental variables influence outcomes in individuals with psychosis. Grounded in an equity and inclusion lens, Saleena’s work reflects the belief that effective care must recognize diverse identities and lived experiences. She is committed to advancing mental health research that addresses the gaps in women’s health and ensures gender-informed evidence guides practice.
