Taleah Dumoulin
I have a background in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, as well as Global and Public Health, and currently work as a research assistant at the University of Oslo.
My research to date has fostered a strong interest in how developmental processes shape mental health, particularly through the interaction of psychosocial and biological mechanisms. Through this work, I have developed a growing focus on women’s health across adolescence and early adulthood, with a particular interest in how changes in the endogenous hormonal environment influence well-being trajectories.
In my current role, I use both population-level data and user involvement approaches to study the links between hormonal contraceptive use, menstrual, and mental health. By conducting focus groups with young women, I help ensure that our research protocols, participant engagement strategies, feasibility, and science communication are informed by youth perspectives.
I would be happy to connect!
