Andri Christoforou

Dr Andri Christoforou is an Assistant Professor of Clinical and Gender Psychology in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at European University Cyprus. Her research explores the intersection of gender, reproduction, and mental health, with a particular focus on the psychological and sociocultural factors influencing maternal mental health. She is actively involved in large-scale international research collaborations on peripartum depression, anxiety, stress, and childbirth-related trauma, and serves on the Editorial Boards of BMC Women’s Health and BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth.
