Josiah Lansang

Josiah Lansang is a queer Master’s student in Computer Science in the Towlson Lab at the University of Calgary. His research utilizes a network neuroscience and neuroimaging lens to investigate the effects of gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) and how it influences brain organization and mental health. His work is grounded in community-informed health research. Josiah helped launch the Queer Research Hub and is deeply committed to advocacy that improves the lives of 2SLGBTQIA+ people. He is also actively involved in teaching, university governance, and peer mentorship. Josiah’s favourite self-care activities include crocheting, coin collecting, going to the gym, and playing guitar!
