A Research Day Focused on the Future of Health

Our Tri-Cluster Research Day was a 3-year initiative that took place annually from 2019-2021. The purpose of the initiative was to provide students and trainees with opportunities to present their multi-disciplinary research to address the Future of Health. This research day also encouraged faculty and students to identify research projects that relate to their work and facilitate the co-creation of new research ideas.

The research day included:

  • Virtual Poster presentations that exhibited students’ work
  • Virtual Lightning Round presentations by the top 10 abstracts
  • Brainstorming session for collaborative team grants

Across all 3 years we have had over 200 registrants, granted 10 awards, had over 20 speakers present their work, and over 23 posters presented.
