Aayushi Joshi is an MD/PhD Candidate pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology under the guidance of supervisors Dr. Kristin Clemens and Dr. Saverio Stranges at Western University. Her research uses the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging to examine how type 2 diabetes influences frailty trajectories and bone health outcomes in middle-older aged adults. Prior to her dual degree, she obtained a Master of Science at McGill University, where she led a multi-centre study on frailty in heart failure patients, and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University, where her interests in merging patient care with research to tackle chronic diseases began.
