My passion for biotechnology is driven by a deep-seated desire to address real world health challenges, particularly those that disproportionately affect women. As a B.Tech. student, I’ve sought to apply my academic knowledge in genetics and molecular biology to projects with tangible health implications.

My work on investigating chemical safety in menstrual products for PCOS risk was a pivotal experience, as it opened my eyes to the critical need for evidence-based research in consumer health. This project wasn’t just about laboratory analysis; it was about understanding how environmental factors can influence complex conditions and how scientific rigor can protect public health. This led me to a complementary project: developing a natural hydrogel for anti-inflammation and anti-allergy. This work underscored the importance of developing safer, more biocompatible solutions for women’s health issues.

I believe my background provides a unique, interdisciplinary perspective. My interest in forensic science has cultivated a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to research, which is essential for uncovering subtle yet significant correlations in data. I am eager to bring this blend of technical skill and problem-solving to the Women’s Health Research Cluster. I am confident that by collaborating with a diverse group of experts, we can translate cutting-edge research into meaningful advancements that improve the lives of women.
