Alex Lukey is a registered nurse and postdoctoral fellow who completed a PhD in Population and Public Health from the University of British Columbia. Alex’s recent research has focused on ovarian cancer prevention, but her previous work has spanned cardiology, patient education, and health policy. During her PhD, Alex was supported by the Killam Doctoral Scholarship and the CIHR CGS Doctoral Award. Outside of her research, Alex serves on the Advisory Committee of the Women’s Health Research Cluster and teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at UBC Okanagan.
