Amanda Acauan Goes

Amanda Acauan, a 2nd-year Psychology student at Douglas College in British Columbia has always been interested in women’s physical and mental health. This fascination was solidified after experiencing a Health Psychology course, when she made the decision to pursue her career as a Health Psychologist. Amanda’s intention is to focus time and effort in rethinking health care systems, underscoring the importance of an IPC approach in these settings, and working through promotion of healthy behaviours with an emphasis on women’s perspectives. Despite being at the beginning of the journey, Amanda is continuously seeking for significant research in the field and looks forward to acquiring and applying knowledge.
