Amy Johnston is an Assistant Professor and epidemiologist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology within the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine, a Child Health & Wellness researcher within the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute, and a member of both the O’Brien Institute for Public Health and the Libin Cardiovascular Institute. Her research program, AWARE, uses quantitative approaches grounded in intersectional and life course frameworks to generate evidence aimed at informing practice and improving outcomes and equity in women’s cardiovascular and reproductive health.
