Deepika is a PhD student in the clinical psychology program at the University of Calgary. She earned her MSc from the University of Calgary and her bachelor’s degree from University of British Columbia. Currently, she is SSHRC doctoral fellow and a Alberta Gambling Research Institute Graduate Scholar. Broadly her research interests include the aetiology and treatment of eating disorders and body image across the lifespan. Deepika’s doctoral dissertation will examine body image in women of colour.
