Jocelien Olivier

Prof. Olivier, a behavioral developmental neuroscientist, studies how depression and antidepressant treatment during pregnancy affect mothers and offspring. She secured a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship and two NARSAD grants to establish a research line on pregnancy-related adversity. As chair of the GELIFES research institute board she advocates diversity. She is a Dutch Biology Council member, contributing to national research and education initiatives. A former Young Academy Groningen board member (2020–2022), and she serves on the Neurofederatie board, representing Dutch neuroscientists nationally, across Europe, and globally.
