Julia Dahlby is a physiotherapist and PhD student at the University of British Columbia. After five years of treating patients with mild traumatic brain injuries, she took her passion for neurological rehabilitation back to academia and joined Dr. Lara Boyd’s Brain Behaviour Lab in 2021. Funded by CIHR, her research focuses on the underrepresentation of females and women in stroke research, and furthering our understanding of how rehabilitation interventions may need to differ for the different sexes and genders.
