Kiarah O’Kane
Kiarah (she/they) is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of British Columbia. Their research broadly focuses on identifying modifiable risk and protective factors for 2S/LGBTQ+ individuals’ and couples’ sexual well-being, with the goal of developing accessible and inclusive interventions to bolster sexual well-being. Their PhD research focuses on understanding potential links between individuals’ positive gendered experiences (i.e., gender euphoria, gender pleasure) and their own and their partner’s sexual well-being.
