Kristin Light
From the boardroom to the ballroom, Kristin Light brings her dynamic expertise as a senior engagement and communications strategist, best-selling author, award-winning speaker, and vivacious entertainer to every stage she graces.
As an Autistic ADHD-er with a long history of severe mental illness, Kristin is channeling her extensive lived experience to drive change from within the corporate world, where she recently managed a federal grant (received through the Canadian Association for Supported Employment’s Innovation Lab program) to build a neuroinclusion and suicide prevention program for Canada’s rail construction industry.
Kristin is a proud Board Member with DiverseMinds, an organization dedicated to supporting neurodivergent women and girls. She is certified in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills); a trained Mental Health First Aider; and a recent graduate of the University of New Brunswick’s Psychologically Safe Leadership program.
As an engaging and innovative corporate experience facilitator, Kristin couples the LEGO™ Serious Play methodology with progressive inclusion strategy to create welcoming and affirming onboarding sessions, team building workshops, and strategic planning labs. Her newly-designed process for navigating difficult conversations within employee focus groups has met with rave reviews from participants and executives alike. Multiply-neurodivergent herself, Kristin brings genuine perspective, conscientious guidance, and a much-needed dose of levity to these more delicate conversations.
