Nicolette Molina

Nicolette Molina is a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Oregon and an incoming predoctoral intern at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian. Her work focuses on self-injurious thoughts and behaviors and mood disorders in the perinatal period. She applies intersectional and social justice frameworks to examine how individuals’ contexts shape suicide risk, with a broader commitment to advancing equitable, evidence-based care across reproductive stages. Her research uses advanced quantitative approaches alongside qualitative and mixed methods. Clinically, she predominantly practices dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and currently works on an NIH-funded project delivering skills-only DBT to pregnant individuals at Duke University School of Medicine.

She is interested in extending her research and clinical work across the reproductive lifespan through collaborative work on the menstrual cycle and menopause transition.
