Nour Mimouni

Nour is a neuroendocrinologist investigating how environmental factors(particularly hormones and stress)shape the brain during the peripartum period. Her translational research examines the in utero origins and transgenerational transmission of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Her work also focuses on hormone-driven plasticity in the olfactory -neuroendocrine circuits during the transition to motherhood and stress, and its influence on maternal health.
As a previous member of the European Health Parliament and the Women in Science Rising Talent Program, she is strongly committed to advancing women’s health policies through advocacy.
