Raquel Rodriguez is a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology student at McGill University who is deeply committed to advancing healthcare, with a particular focus on women and marginalized communities. Recognizing the unique struggles faced by these groups, including transgender and gender-diverse individuals, fuels her passion for promoting inclusive and equitable healthcare practices. In addition to her academic pursuits, she serves as a pediatric physician assistant, dedicated to contributing to clinic healthcare and advocating for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Volunteering at McGill University’s Cardiovascular Health and Autonomic Research Laboratory (CHARlab) has provided her with invaluable opportunities to assist with cutting-edge research, piloting studies, and examining cardiovascular function across diverse populations.
