Samantha McGuinness is a PhD student in the laboratory of Dr. Meghan Chenoweth at the University of Toronto. Her current work utilizes bioinformatic approaches to explore how genetic variation interacts with environmental risk factors to influences risk for psychiatric disorders. She aims to uncover potential biological bases for prevalence differences in disorder between genders.
