Sara Rodrigues

Dr. Sara Rodrigues is Director, Applied Research at the Atlas Institute for Veterans and Families. Her current program of research focuses on the social determinants of mental health of CAF and RCMP Veterans, with a focus on women’s mental health and aging. She is a co-founder of The Athena Project at the Atlas Institute, a community building and research initiative for women Veterans. Her work has been published in European Journal of Psychotraumatology, Sexualities, Human Studies, and others, and she is a co-editor of “On the Politics of Ugliness” (with Ela Przybylo, Palgrave Macmillan, 2018). She is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Military Veteran and Family Health (JMVFH).
