Sarah Vincent
Sarah R. Vincent is an MD/MPH candidate at the CUNY School of Medicine and the CUNY School of Public Health and Health Policy, where she concentrates in Sexual and Reproductive Justice and Health. Her academic and research interests center on maternal health equity, perinatal mental health, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and the structural determinants of reproductive outcomes. She is particularly interested in integrating epidemiologic methods with community-engaged research to examine how social, economic, and policy environments shape maternal morbidity and mortality among Black women and other marginalized populations.
Sarah’s research experience includes work in clinical and translational settings, with training in quantitative analysis and population health frameworks. She is committed to bridging research, policy, and clinical practice, and she aspires to become an OB/GYN–scientist-advocate focused on advancing equitable, trauma-informed maternity care. Through her academic work and leadership involvement, she seeks to contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations that generate actionable evidence to improve reproductive health systems.
