Dr Temitope Okunola is a Nigerian Gynaecologist and gender advocate passionate about advancing sexual and reproductive health. Trained in qualitative research methods, I bring a strong qualitative research lens to my work, exploring the lived experiences behind health outcomes and policies She is the managing physician at the Ekiti Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Ado-Ekiti.
Beyond clinical practice, she is a strong advocate for the girl child and provide youth-friendly reproductive health services. I am also an active researcher on sexual and gender-based violence, combining medical expertise, qualitative inquiry, and community engagement to drive meaningful change.
My research and practice focus on reproductive justice, gender equity, and gender justice—creating inclusive, equitable, and people-centred approaches to healthcare where every voice is heard, and every life is valued.
