Dr. Thuy-vy T. Nguyen is the Principal Investigator of the Solitude Lab and an Associate Professor of Psychology at Durham University, UK. Her research examines how solitude contributes to emotional well-being and stress regulation. She is currently leading a three-year ESRC-funded project investigating women’s experiences of solitude during the transition to motherhood. The project aims to explore how personal time can be used to enhance daily mood amidst the demands of childcare and household responsibilities.
