She holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Health Statistics from Sichuan University and specializes in leveraging advanced quantitative analysis to promote women’s health equity. Her current research focuses on developing microsimulation models to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) in women’s cardiovascular health and endometriosis research in Canada—addressing areas historically characterized by significant diagnostic delays and funding gaps. Nan’s work also examines how Sex and Gender-Based Analysis (SGBA) policies influence national research funding patterns to inform more equitable resource allocation. Nan is committed to integrating economic evidence into health policy and decision-making to ensure more equitable resource allocation.
