Ami Tint
Dr. Ami Tint is an Azrieli Accelerator Assistant Professor in Neurodiversity & Intersectionality in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary. She completed her graduate training at York University, her pre-doctoral residency at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Dr. Tint’s research uses multiple methods to understand how to improve supports and services for and with people with neurodevelopmental conditions, with a particular focus on the mental health needs of Autistic girls and women. She studies program development and evaluation with the aim of improving equitable access to care for neurodivergent people. Dr. Tint strives to achieve meaningful community partnerships and engage in coproduced research to inform clinical practice.
