My research focuses on the impact of ovarian hormones on the brain and behavior, particularly in context integration and mind-body connection. I am deeply motivated by improving the lives of understudied women and gender diverse individuals through this understanding.

I am currently a Max Planck School of Cognition doctoral student working with Dr. Julia Sacher at Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences. I have worked with Dr. Annie Duchesne at University of Northern British Columbia on biosocial and gendered usage of hormonal contraceptives on the brain and Dr. Leorah Freeman at University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School comparing convolutional neural networks for brain segmentation in clinical populations. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin.
