Harleen Rai
Harleen Rai is a clinical psychology trainee with a research focus on women’s brain health across the lifespan. Her work examines the intersection of menopause, cognitive aging, and lifestyle factors, with a particular emphasis on immigrant and culturally diverse populations. Using an equity-focused lens, she explores how lifestyle factors, such as physical activity, sleep quality, social connection, and stress, shape cognition in midlife. Through her research, Harleen aims to contribute to culturally informed approaches to dementia prevention and cognitive well-being.
Beyond academia, she is dedicated to making scientific research accessible to the public, translating complex findings into meaningful conversations on brain health, aging, and mental well-being.
