Juliet Nwafor
Juliet Nwafor is a Doctoral Researcher at The School of Social Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Prior to this, she worked as a Research Assistant at Lagos Business School, where she contributed her quota to management research.
She also worked as a Human Resources Intern at the Economic Commission West African States. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She also spent an exchange semester at Sciences Po Paris.
Juliet has remarkable research experience gained from both qualitative and quantitative studies, which she has carried out over time. Her research interests relate to women’s health and gender equality and diversity within organizations. Her doctoral research is focused on problematic menstruation and how it affects employee productivity among women in formal organizations. Through her research, Juliet aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the challenges women face in the workplace and to advocate for gender-inclusive policies and practices.
