Sabrina is a MSc candidate in the Women and Children’s Health Sciences stream at UBC. Under the mentorship of Dr. Gillian Hanley, her research focuses on hereditary high-risk groups for gynecological cancers. She specifically investigates preventative interventions for BRCA mutation carriers to reduce the risks of ovarian and breast cancers, as well as the implications of variants of unknown significance in these genes.
