Sophia completed her B.Sc. in Honours Life Sciences Biology at University of Waterloo in the co-operative education program. Her current research interests focus on women’s health-related quality of life and health equity as it pertains to breast oncology and reconstruction, from identifying barriers for inclusive cancer care to investigating clinical integration of machine learning nomograms to predict the need for post-mastectomy radiation therapy.
