I am a bioinformatician and a clinical microbiologist (PhD in Microbiology (2018),MSc in Bioinformatics (2023), MSc in Applied Microbiology (2012) and BSc in Clinical Biology and Microbiology (2011)). Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm (Sweden) where I work with microbiome and multi-omics studies using data of population-based cohorts. I am interested in how females differ from males, specially in the urinary microbiome. My experience in Bioinformatics and Microbiology not only comes from research. Previous and during my PhD studies, I worked in the hospital as well doing analyses in the clinical and emergency lab for 6 years (CATLAB-Hospital de Terrassa (Consorci sanitari de Terrassa (Barcelona))).
