Student Awards

We are proud to offer a variety of student awards aimed at supporting the next generation of women’s health researchers. These awards provide financial assistance for students to present their work, connect with leaders in the field, and contribute to innovative research. In addition to travel funding, we offer an annual research award to directly support students research projects. Below is a list of available awards.

Holly Ewanyshyn Women’s Health Equity Graduate Research Award

Awards totaling $2,000 have been made annually from donors, for Faculty of Medicine research-stream graduate students, or research-stream graduate students supervised by Faculty of Medicine supervisors, researching disease pathogenesis in women or female models of disease.

Trainee Travel Awards

The Travel Award offers $250 prizes for students who are attending a women’s health or sex/gender differences conference or presenting women’s health or sex/gender differences research at any conference. These funds can be used to cover conference registration or travel costs.
